Music Composer, Director, Chord, UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN (2015)

Co-Project lead and Music director for music-art installation. Chord seeks to create an environment that promotes creative play utilizing multiple forms of media. Participants manipulate light and digital sound via multiple “chords” throughout the performance space to explore music and projections interactivity and all the ways it can be composed aurally and visually. Several  iPhones attached to the ropes send accelerometer data via OSC, and processed sound using Isadora. Produced by Cohen New Works Festival.

As a research-driven, devised production, RE/CONNECT utilizes several disciplines to explore the nexus of technology, art, and what it means to be human. Audiences encounter a monumental tablet that swipes through layers of live music, movement, costume technology, and projected media that explore the current fascination with online communication. RE/CONNECT asks, 'Where do we find intimacy in an increasingly connected world?'"

Richard III, Loyalty Blinds Me, PERFORMER, UNIV. TEXAS AT AUSTIN 2014 Shakespeare driven by live animation and computer vision. French director Jean Lambert-wild and Théâtre de l’Union in association with the University of Texas at Austin’s Departments of Digital Arts and Media Bridging Disciplines, Integrated Media with Live Performance, and Fusebox Festival, held a residency at the University of Texas at Austin, to develop, test, and implement an animation system as part of the technical processes and systems for a new adaptation of Shakespeares's Richard III titled Richard III, Loyalty Binds Me. This involved centralizing software, face and body tracking, computer vision, and live-animation as an important strategy for conveying narrative, creating emotional impact, and constructing the mise-en-scene.
